Ps4 Will be backwards compatible

Sony announced that in 2014 they would be going to the cloud services to deal with the backwards compatibility issue. The new program will be Gaikai's new cloud services, and it will not be a full backwards compatible system but allow a limited number of ps3 titles. However I can safely assume that the select ps3 games will be of high quality such as the last of us, GTA V,etc.... I wonder how this will fair against Microsoft's new Xbox One and their cloud services because truth of the matter is that they started the cloud use in console gaming. Also they have the new dedicated servers which will work solely on the cloud servers. Sony bought Gaikai services for $380 million last summer. They will be used to instant game streaming , instant demos where you play as it downloads and also allowing friends to remote control play your game for you. This is a beginning to future console enhancements.

Warframe Coming to Xbox One?????

Warframe studious had a interview recently and stated that they would love to have Warframe for Xbox One. "We would love to see war frame on Xbox one, the ball is in Microsoft's courts now that they are allowing titles on their system that come from independent developers and publishers." Ps4 has been astonishing many with its new installments of free to play games. However warframe has amazed many due to its insane graphics and 60fps. Warframe situates players as members of the tenno race and its primarily focused on intense coop action. The members of tenno race awake from cryo sleep, and find themselves in a solar system at war.

Ps4 Bundles

According to an Amazon twitter account it is confirmed that there will be enough Playstation 4 bundles to release date. However it is unsure if it could last or not. Some of the Bundles include, Kill Zone Shadow Fall, Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, Knack, etc....

Xbox One First Party Games

According to many sources it is to be that Xbox

one first party games will be will be priced at $60 in the U.S.

Microsoft Stepping Up

According to analysts it is said that Microsoft's Xbox One might out ship Sony's PlayStation 4. According to  Colin Sebastian, the Microsoft DRM and policy reversal is taking effect in Microsofts favor. For instance "Importantly our supply chain checks suggest that Microsoft may have the benefit of a 2-3x unit advantage compared to Sony's ps4 at launch."

Ps4 Cooler than Ps3

It has been just announced that the next gen console PlayStation 4 will be considerably cooler than the current gen ps3, with its temperature running at 5-35 degrees celcius with its predeccesoor running at 45-55 degrees celcius.

This is excellent news, knowing that the ps4 with its massive processing power will have a cooler temerature rate. Also that it will less likely overheat!

Ps4 User Interface

Sony announced the video for the Playstation 4 user interface and how the ps4 would look and feel. Theres not much more to be said except that how incredible the processing speed of the ps4 actually is! So watch the video to see for yourself.

Playstation Plus Membership??? Do i Need It?

This is probably the most asked question when it comes to PlayStation 3 and the upcoming PlayStation 4. It isnt a must to subscribe to it but it will soon prove to be worth while. Back when the ps3 was launched PlayStation plus slowly started to make its move by introducing its self to gamers. PS Plus is very different than its competitor Xbox live. In that while you have to pay $5 a month you get loads worth of discounts on select items but also 12 free games and 6 games for ps vita. With that you also get free games every month. This month PS Plus subscribers earned Games such as Payday the Heist, Saints Row the Third and Battlefield 3. Every month the more you get the more you feel that the subscription is worth it, it is said that for $50 a year you save $1000.

Playstation New Exclusives!!

1. Knack

Mark Cerny announced his new development for Sony's new exclusives. Judging from his previous work with ratchet and clank and jak and daxter this sure looks like something to check out.

2. The Order 1886

This new exclusive is based in a victorian-era where anything can happen as you work with the order with advanced weaponry to fight an ancient foe.

3. Driveclub

Driveclub is Sony's new racing game. Being developed by evolution studious. This game is based on teamwork while driving with friends. They sought to make an ultimate socially connected racing game that defines the new era of the racing genre. This game also comes free with PS Plus subscribers.

4. Deepdown

This development is still a work in progress according to e3 officials. Its currently being developed by capcom studios.

5. Killzone Shadow Fall

Any PlayStation gamer will recognize this this old Ip. Killzone shadow fall is being developed by Guerilla Studios and is placed thirty years after the events of killzone 3.

6. Infamous Second Son

Now this title won the hearts of many back at e3. The well known famous or should I say Infamous Series. This title seems to have no resemblence of the previous titles and is currently headed in a new direction. It seems a new protagonist is at hand who seems to be fighting with the new government and their regulations to control the meta humans.

These are the 6 new IP's that is currently under Sony's wing. But dont be fooled Sony has a total of 30 exclusives that will be announced in europe at Gamescom!!

Is the playstation eye really worth it?

If you were to ask any other gamer out there, kinect vs playstation eye current gen its no doubt that Microsoft made more money and gamers happy with its device. However next gen might be a different story, Sony has developed a new camera that will compete with Microsoft kinect 2.o. Theres no telling which one will take it this year but Sony isnt out of the game. That being said sales for Kinect 2.o might flourish initially due to it being sold included as a mandatory purchase. That also leaves the hardcore traditional players distraught that they have to pay extra for a device that they could care less about. On the other hand Sony gamers are more satisfied with buying the playstation eye separately and as an added bonus cheaper than the Kinect 2.o. The Kinect is now at $100 price and the playstation eye camera is $59 price point. Nothing is for sure the tide could go in both Microsoft and Sony's favor.

Playstation 4 Dualshock 4

The Dual Shock 4 Controller... it seems to have amazed gamers throughout the world with its new sleek design and mysterious new features. Some of the new features of the dualshock 4 is the obvious new touch pad. It has been confirmed for navigation throughout the PlayStation user interface, but also for the new playstation room where users will be able to navigate through options a select using the new touchpad. example of whats to come. The mono speaker which is placed directly under the touch pad seems to amaze me in that it could be used as a warning for grenade indicators in games such as Cod and or Bf.

The new share and options button replace the traditional start button of the previous controllers but they function with the next gen social media interfaces. The other focus was that Sony is trying to give gamers in this next-gen a more socially interactive environment to keep gamers entertained and connected.

There also was an addition to the new light bar which seems to work hand in hand with the new PS Eye which will be covered in more depth later on. this addition is also a promotion for the new camera to compete with Microsoft's kinect. It also functions to distinguish players with various colors of the light bar to help ease tensions with gamer dilemmas.

Lastly the new addition to the dual shock 4 is the stereo headset jack, this is an improvement in that many more third party audio publishers will be able to sell and produce devices to gamers and to promote Sony's enterprise.

Sony in the lead...

Since the reveal of the Ps4 it has been appealing to gamers throughout the world, crushing its competition from reveal through e3. Though microsoft has reversed its hated DRM policies that Don Mattrick and the Microsoft team had undoubtedly supported, its still clear that many gamers hearts were somewhat dissatisfied with the Xbox one as a whole. As for me i dont mind cause that they showed how they listen to feedback from their customers in some way control the gaming industry buying the consoles and such. However the ps4 still outshines the Xbox one in that ps plus has more to offer than Microsoft Xbox live. They offer free games every month and not to mention discounts and obviously multiplayer options. The ps4 at launch also comes with 4 brand new triple a titles such as warframe a sy-fy space ninja title, black-light retribution a futuristic arcade style shooter, DCUO a mmorpg style superhero game which appeals to me and last but not least Planetside 2 which is an mmofps shooter, which resembles battlefield 3 but has much more elements in its futuristic setting. Its a very intense battle but as for right now it seems Sony has the lead.
